Status Update


Known Issues

  • The player character will sometimes keep moving into ledges, even though they are supposed to lose all their speed once they hit a ledge.
  • The jump sound effect does not always play when the player character jumps.
  • The player character cannot jump from unstable floors once they have started falling.
  • The tutorial toggle and leaderboard data is not always saved between page reloads.
  • If the player presses (with or without holding down space aftewards) after right the player character lands from a jump or fall, they will wind walk rather than jump normally.
  • The game's aspect ratio is responsive and will change according to the player's screen aspect ratio. As the game was designed for 16:9 (desired visibility of upcoming plaftorms etc) this may be changed in the future.

Roadmap

  • Revised wind walking system (to emphasise the feeling of walking or running rather than hovering or flying, jetpack-style).
  • Booby traps, undead guards and other obstacles.
  • Wall jumping.
  • More audiovisual feedback (for ex. wind walking and score registration).
  • More polished graphics and audio.
  • Narrative elements.
